It is an easy and good way to make a sauce recipe that pairs with almost everything you eat. The ingredients are normally to find in our kitchens, the only special ingredient in this recipe, one of the main ingredients and the king of flavor in this sauce, is Chipotle or Chipotle Adobo.

 This easy Chipotle Sauce Recipe is shockingly quick to make, and you just need only 5 minutes. The ingredients that you need are simple to find in our kitchens.

    Ingredients :

  • 1 cup sour cream.
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise.
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
  • 3 tablespoons chopped cilantro.
  • freshly squeezed juice of 1/2 lime.
  • 1 garlic glove.
  • salt to taste.

 Sour cream adds an extra creaminess and a slight tanginess to this recipe, you can also use Greek yogurt in case it is a little difficult to get sour cream. Add all of the ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until the mixture is homogenous. Serve right away or store refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 4 days.

 By the way, adobo sauce is mainly composed of ingredients such as chili powder, tomatoes, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, cumin… and the list goes on. If you can’t find chipotle peppers, a dried and ground version works in a pinch! Just keep in mind that one dried chipotle pepper is equivalent to 1/2 teaspoon of chipotle powder. If you feel that’s not enough, you can always add a bit more and blend again.

 Currently, Chipotles in adobo are something that Mexicans don’t actually make themselves because good quality ones are found everywhere, so there’s hardly a reason to make it, like for example mustard or mayonnaise.

There are countless ways to use this sauce. The most common and perfect uses are for topping salads, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, burgers, normal or sweet potato fries (and also mandioca fries, shrimp, chicken, meat, salmon, and more!

Chipotle Dressing or Vinaigrette for Salads.

 If you have leftover meat, ground meat, chicken, or instant pot carnitas, just add a few fresh veggies, and you have a filling lunch or dinner that’s full of flavor.

 Chipotle salad dressing or vinaigrette is such an easy recipe that you can whip up a batch in minutes. There really isn’t much prep for this dressing recipe. You don’t even need to chop anything. This recipe makes 1¼ cups of dressing.

 Ingredients :

  • 6 tablespoons red wine vinegar.
  • 3 tablespoons honey.
  • ¾ cup vegetable oil.
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano.
  • 1½ teaspoons salt.
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper.
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce.
  • 2 small garlic cloves.
 Method :

 If you’re looking to make this even easier when adding honey, try coating your measuring spoon with oil or cooking spray before measuring the honey to let the honey falls easier from the spoon.

 Combine all these ingredients in a blender or food processor. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. You will make the best salad dressing, and much more when we can do a taco salad.

Spicy Mexican Chipotle Chicken Marinade.

 This marinade is filled with bold flavors, from the smoky chipotle to the tangy lime juice, to the fresh cilantro. It will make any grilled chicken or meat mouthwatering!

 This marinade recipe is all you need to turn boring chicken into a flavorful, and amazing dish that everyone will love.

 It’s important to note that the start of the marinade is the chipotle paste, which adds a nice warming flavor and some spiciness. You should definitely give it a try. It’s easy to make, you just have to combine all the ingredients in a bowl or resealable plastic bag and mix them well.

 You can add the chicken o meat to the mix and let it sit in the fridge until you’re ready to cook it. The longer it bathes in the marinade, the more flavorful it will be.

 You can sub chipotle paste with chipotles in adobo sauce and just chop them.

 Ingredients :

  • 2 limes (juice).
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil.
  • 2 Tbsp chipotle paste (read notes).
  • 1 tsp chili powder or flakes.
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika.
  • ½ cup cilantro (chopped).
  • 1 tsp cumin powder.
  • 1 ½ Tbsp onion powder.
  • 1 ½ Tbsp oregano.
  • 2 tsp garlic powder.
  • ½ tsp pepper.
  • 1 ½ tsp salt.
Method :

 Add all ingredients to a resealable bag, jar, or container and shake/whisk vigorously so the seasonings dissolve well and combine. Add the chicken or meat to the bag or container and shake/turn to coat on all sides. Refrigerate or freeze until ready to cook.

Chipotle Drinks & Beverages.

 The world of drinks is very versatile, and talking about a particular one is very difficult, much more when there are drinks with and without alcohol. Margaritas are the most common drinks that we can find with adding chipotle.

 Some of the drinks you can do without alcohol if you like.

Chipotle Pineapple Margarita

 Ingredients :

  • 1 Tbsp Sugar.
  • 1 Tbsp Chipotle powder (or chili powder).
  • 1 Oz of Tequila.
  • 1 Oz of Pineapple juice.
  • 1 Oz of Lime juice.
  • 1/2 Oz of Cointreau.
  • 1/4 Oz of Agave syrup or Honey.
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric.
  • Some ice.
 Method :

 As a first step, we must rub a lime wedge around the outer rim of a rocks glass (or any small glass). Then mix sugar and chipotle powder in a small dish. Dip the rocks glass in the chili powder mixture until completely coated. In a cocktail shaker (or any mixing glass) mix all the other ingredients and once all the ingredients are mixed carefully place a little more ice in the glass with sugar and chipotle on the edges and finally fill it with the mixture of the prepared Pineapple Margarita and enjoy!

Strawberry Chipotle Paloma Cocktail

 Ingredients :

  • Chipotle chili powder (or Tajin).
  • Salt.
  • 1 Oz of Tequila.
  • 1/4 Oz agave or honey.
  • 1 Oz of smashed strawberries.
  • 3 Oz of Grapefruit juice.
  • 1/2 fresh lemon juice.
  • 2 Oz of grapefruit soda (or any lemon-lime flavored soft drink.
  • Ice.
 Method :

 Wet the rim of a tall glass with some lime juice and dip it in a mixture of chili powder and salt. In another glass (or mixing cocktail shaker) smash the strawberries, agave, and tequila, then pour it all into the tall serving glass. Add ice, grapefruit juice, lime juice, and grapefruit soda (or any lemon-lime-flavored soft drink) to finish it all off. Garnish with a lime slice and a strawberry slice.

Chipotle Lime Michelada

 Many times the temperatures become high that even the very cold water does not take away that particular thirst for heat and give us that desire to drink something else, the first thing that comes to mind is a very cold beer, but you have started to think that a simple beer can be modified and make it even more delicious? Keep reading and I’ll tell you a delicious way to change a normal michelada a little for an explosion of flavors in your mouth. This Chipotle Lime Michelada is the most delicious Mexican drink made from tomato juice, beer, and lots of condiments.

 Ingredients :

  • Celery.
  • 1/2 cup Clamato tomato cocktail (or tomato juice).
  • 1 Lime.
  • 4 dashes of Chipotle hot sauce.
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice.
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce.
  • 1 Chili powder.
  • 1 Sea salt, Coarse
  • 1 Light beer
  • Ice.
 Method :

 First, wet the rim of a glass with a lime wedge. Put plenty of salt on a plate and rub the edge of the glass. Make sure it adheres well. Fill half of the glass with ice and add the Clamato or tomato juice, lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, and chipotle sauce, and stir. Then complete the glass with light beer.

 For decoration just put a lime wedge, add the celery stalk, sprinkle with chipotle chili powder, and enjoy this delicious drink!

Micheladas Locas

 If you are one of those people who like to innovate when it comes to drinks here we bring you a crazy deliciousness that you can eat and drink at the same time and is not at all difficult to make. This recipe makes 4 servings.

 Ingredients :

  • 1 Cup Clamato Tomato Juice.
  • ¼ Cup Chamoy Sauce.
  • ¼ Cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice.
  • ¼ Cup Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice.
  • ½ Tablespoon Tapatio Hot Sauce.
  • ½ Tablespoon Tajin Chipotle Chili-Lime Powder.
  • Ice Cubes.
  • 4 Cans or Bottles of Good Mexican Beer, chilled.
  • 1 Large Cucumber, peeled and diced.
  • 1 Cup Mexican Japanese Style Crunchy Peanuts.
  • Orange and lime slices for garnish.
  • Chamoy and Tajin Chili-Lime Powder, for rimming glasses.
 Method :

 To rim, glasses dip the top of the glass into the chamoy added in a small bowl and coat heavily and then dip the top of the glass into Tajin and coat it with the powder. Rim all glasses then set aside.

 Apart, Make the michelada mix by combining all mixed ingredients into a large jar: clamato, chamoy, orange juice, lime juice, hot sauce, and Tajin, and stir well.

 Fill rimmed glasses with a small amount of ice then add in as much michelada mix as you would like. This will depend on the size of your glasses. Top the michelada mix with the chilled beer.

 Finally, add toppings: orange and lime slices, diced cucumber, peanuts, and, why not, spicy candy (Yum Yum!). If you really like hot sauces just drizzle the top of everything with more hot sauce, lime juice, chamoy, and Tajin.

 Drink, eat it too and enjoy!

Mexican Street Chipotle Fruit Cups

 If you are a lover of healthy and spicy snacks I recommend you prepare this recipe. This takes the concept of a fruit salad to a whole new level, where the sweet flavors of fruits, lemon acid, and spicy combine to give an unparalleled flavor that you will love for life. The chili-lime seasoning is that extra hint that makes it super special.

 In this recipe does not matter if the mango is not ripe, contrary, you will like it much more because it is more crunchiness.

 Ingredients :

  • 1-2 large mangoes sliced.
  • 1 sliced cucumber.
  • ½ large papaya seeded, sliced.
  • ¼ medium watermelon sliced.
  • 1 red fresh chili pepper.
  • 1 medium lime sliced/wedged.
  • ¼ cup Chipotle Chili-lime seasoning.
  • Cilantro or mint (optional, for garnish).
 Method :

 Peel and slice all fruit into evenly sized slices. Rim a cup or glass with a lime wedge and then dip the edge of the glass or cup into the Chipotle Chili-lime seasoning. Add a bowl of all the fruits and sprinkle with Chipotle Chili-lime seasoning to your liking.

 Place each of the fruits in the glass with chipotle-rimmed edges and enjoy!
